Our mission
To create a transparent international system through which participants can collectively help families and individuals gain access to safe, stable and dignified housing.
About the initiative
GlobalRoof is an international housing initiative designed to unite many small, regular contributions into real and verifiable help for people who need a secure home.
The central idea
GlobalRoof is based on a simple principle: a small contribution from one person may seem modest, but the same contribution from many people can create lasting change.
To create a transparent international system through which participants can collectively help families and individuals gain access to safe, stable and dignified housing.
A growing global community in which solidarity is transformed into practical housing solutions, with clear rules, public reporting and respect for every person receiving support.
Our principles
Contributions, costs, decisions and project results should be presented clearly and in a form that can be checked.
People receiving help are not publicity material. Their privacy, consent and personal circumstances must be respected.
The initiative depends on long-term participation, careful management and responsible decisions by the community and the organisation.
The model
GlobalRoof is intended as a structured, long-term housing mechanism rather than a collection of isolated fundraising campaigns.
People can contribute regularly, follow the results and understand how the collective fund is being used.
Support should provide stability without turning a person’s private life into a public spectacle.
Before public launch, the legal structure, financial controls, participation rules and reporting system must be finalised. The project will not present plans as completed achievements: each stage will be published honestly as it is approved and implemented.
